Awesome to see both versions of Carravagio’s Christ at Emmaus. I like the 1606 one.
As Jamie says, the 1606 Caravaggio is superb yet less well known, the model for Christ seems (for me) the more authentic. But the moment of utter shock is best captured in the 1601 painting.
